tickle tock

tickle tock

hickery dickery dock
the cough arrested the clock

the detonating tickle
hurls one into humble pickle

tickle tock
is back to mock

time to take stock
unhealthy vibes to block

tickle tock
heal me my Rock

...the LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

fruity series - temperance

when i gaze at Nature to understand its laws
homeostatis is basis to correct excesses and flaws
every organism so intricately designed
energy forms of multi-dimensions interact unconfined

to everything, there is a tipping point
mere mortals get easily out-of-kilter, out-of-joint
self-mastery to bridle desires requires energy and attention
it's wise to temper and heed proverbs 25:16 contention

if you find honey, eat just enough
too much of it, and you will vomit stuff

fruity series - meekness

a spirit of taking advantage of weak
extrapolates a future bleak
for it takes divine strength to be meek
arrogance ironically is weaker slick

niv psalm 10:4 scores
for in his pride the wicked does not seek Him;
in all his thoughts there is no room for God

niv proverbs 11:2 roars
when pride comes, then comes disgrace
but with humility comes wisdom.

niv matthew 5:5 pours
blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

choose meek
for meek is sleek
yielding calm mirth
what thrives in your garden dearth?

fruity series - faith

life is a journey playing out one's faith and beliefs
faith in nothing, something, self and others' myths
that faith spurs purpose and direction
steers all kinds of apathy, empathy and action

take a look at your yard, front-back-inside-out
what you've been planting and allow to grow will soon sprout

we become what we think, eat and feel
what kind of faith we nurture, fuels the deal

faith manifests like an unwound coil
like the gardener choosing to toil for its spoil
the garden simply accepts and gives back what's given
what is driving life, how is mustard-faith being driven?

for as the body with the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also...kjv james 2:26

fruity series - goodness

many paths unfold each day
help me discern, avoid the ones that lead me astray
many choices confront, how shall i decide
help me listen to Your good voice inside

we choose what and how to fill our life
paths are full of uncontrolled curves and strife
You never promised a rose garden, You gave us a choice
You are abundant goodness if only we harken Your voice

for You give only the best
if only we stay close to our Shepherd's breast
if only evil to turn away and detest
if only we arrest ourselves in Your pastures for rest

surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and i will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. - kjv psalm 23:6

fruity series - gentleness

help me be gentle
instead of being caught in a scuffle
help me pause for good cause
instead of need to be boss and anger toss

teach me to flow
and absorb your glow

respond soft to hard
find beauty in weeds, it's not dud
for Nature's rain nurtures
the roots of all living creatures

for He hath shewed thee, o man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly,
and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly
with thy God? - kjv micah 6:8

fruity series - longsuffering

what is my pain
i count it as gain
to be ridiculed and rejected
nothing compares to the suffering You were subjected

to die so we could again live
heaven on earth to freely give
taking our burdens, sinful nature to relieve
to see us through trials and wade through grief
where is up without its down
where is joy without its frown
where is darkness if not to contrast light
where is day without its night
where is perfection without its flaws
where is healing without life's claws
1 corinthians 10:13 to cradle
God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it...and be clothed in blessing cape

fruity series - peace

come all ye heavily laden,
come to My garden
give Me your cares to fertilize blooms
My eye is on the sparrow, give Me your glooms

let not your heart be troubled, peace instead to garner
trust like the plants trust Nature and the Gardener
still your heart to listen to its deepest needs
yield and trust in Me to gain back harmonic beats

come to My garden, drink My dew
rest and replenish, vibrant hues to renew

peace I leave with you,
my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid. - kjv john 14:27

fruity series - joy

when all around me crumbles
joy in a rose and its Creator break the tumbles
respire and rejoice in its petal perfume
His gentle breeze blows away negative fume

happiness is dependent upon circumstances
upon people, things, happenings and instances
joy blossoms with coy on the other hand
stems from within, no matter what land

joy is contentment at heart
God's safe cove to impart
that blooms peace amidst piercing dart
that blooms hope when life falls apart

the apostle paul understood
writing about joy while chained in prison, he brewed this brood
flip to philippians 3:1 to relish, ponder and enjoy
whatever happens, dear brothers & sisters, may the Lord give you joy

fruity series - love

when the world misunderstood
leaning on Your buttress was only way i could and stood

when mortal love disappoints
Your love fills the voids and reconciling balm anoits

when deception is only reception
Your love is the only redemption

when unforgiveness overtakes and overwhelms
we have Your grace to unconditionally bask in divine realms

when all around us seems bust
we love Him because He first loved us - kjv 1 john 4:19
